Dr. Hines is currently the senior pastor of "Living Word Christian Life Center" in Lithonia, Georgia. Dr. Hines is the founder of this ministry and has been in ministry for forty years. In addition, Dr. Hines has been married for thirty-one years to his lovely wife, 'Patricia.' They have two children: Charles Jr., Patrice, and four grandchildren.
Dr. Hines was called to the ministry in the summer of 1983. During this time, he served under the leadership of Rev. Charles Mixon at St. James United Methodist Church in Warrior, Alabama. Two years later, he and his family moved to Ellenwood, Georgia, because of a job transfer.
After that, feeling the need for more exceptional knowledge of God and His Word, Dr. Hines enrolled in Beulah Heights Bible College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in the spring of 1987. Shortly thereafter, Living Word Faith Center (currently 'Living Word Christian Life Center') was the birth in the heart of Dr. Hines by the Holy Spirit. The ministry emphasized: ''Where the Word of God can become alive in you and through you, and Faith Works by Love (Galatians 5:6)."
Sometime later, Pastor Hines enrolled in Luther Rice Seminary in 1991 and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in 1994. Then, Pastor Hines received a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Christian Life School of Theology in 1996. Next, Dr. Hines received a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Logos Graduate School in 1997. Afterward, Dr. Hines received a Doctor of Ministry degree from Beacon University in June 2009. After that, Dr. Hines received an MBA from Beulah Heights University in 2012. Lastly, Dr. Hines received a Specialist in Education Degree from Northcentral University in 2015.
Furthermore, Dr. Hines would like to thank all those he has had the privilege of pastoring, counseling, and ministering to for the past twenty-two years. He trusts that, in some small way, their lives have been touched and enhanced by the ministry of Living Word Christian Life Center. Also, he is grateful to God for those who are currently serving with him in the work of ministry. Finally, he is thankful to those who continually lift his hands in the Lord's work. They have made his job a little easier with their genuine Love for the Lord and His Work.
Finally, Dr. Hines is grateful to the Lord, who continues to sustain him in ministry. Even though there have been many setbacks, trials, and tests, the Lord's Love and power still supply the anointing to complete His work and conduct His vision. Finally, Dr. Hines would like to thank his family for all their Love and support--especially his wife, (Patricia), who has supported him through thick and thin.
God has chosen this ministry to be a demonstration of His Word. In our daily lives, His Word in us is to be a reflection of His character, grace, and love for one another and the world. Therefore, signs and wonders follow us because signs and wonders follow His Word.
